#Nature: Desert Foxes

This is Bing Wallpaper of desert foxes at Little Rann of Kutch sanctuary, Gujarat.

The fox at the behind and the one at the front both are clearly scared. Both are perhaps looking at the camera or the cameraman; are alert and ready to spring out.

From distance it may appear that the one in the back is completely hidden behind the one at the front - except of course its head. But looking closely, it appears that even its back is exposed. In fact the one at the front has kept its back portion bent down, and head low, as if more ready to make a leap; while the one at the back is standing normally, as if still not scared enough.

Had heard a lot of childhood stories of foxes. All painted them as cunning creatures which tricked other animals. Once we went to a make-shift zoo and found that foxes, apart from some other animals as well, smelled really bad. In this picture they appear neither cunning nor stinky. That is the beauty of art - it can never be real.
