It
seems the current Presidential election has become a battleground of political
gimmicks and ego clashes. A list of probable candidates is in front of us but
it disappoints me to see that most are seasoned thick-skinned politicians.
Electing an active politician at the highest post of President of India would
be risky in my opinion. What if some bones come out of the closet later on?
I
support Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam as President of India. Dr. Kalam is a patriot, very
honest and capable person and is a symbol of intelligence and industry. He has
been such an inspiring figure for one and all. He is the only figure in the
list who is completely non-political and an achiever in true sense who can
represent the resurgent India in front of the globe. If Dr. Kalam is our
President, we shall definitely be proud of the fact!
I
wish and pray to see Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam as President of India, again!

With regard to the candidature of Dr. Kalam and his withdrawal from the race paving way to the most unfit Pranab Mukharji, the culprit to be blamed is not at all Mamata but the cut-throat Samajwadi goon, Mulayamsingh Yadhav himself. For, this d_g of a politician first came in support of Mamata to the candidature of Dr. Kalam and it was the same d_g in him to declare that the case of Dr. Kalam to the post of president is "closed". That he said after he went all the way to meet Sonia to lick something of her to antagonize Mamata Banerji to declare his support to Pranab for president of India. When we Indians hand over the governing powers to d_gs like Mulayam, we only will witness chameleons in them on matters dear to the progress of our nation. Those Jayas and others who are posing as puritans while they are being dragged to courts on corruption charges are given power to rule the states in India, naturally the nation will go to dogs and that is exactly being witnessed all over our nation. Mulayam Singh owns UP with his son and daughter in law as much Karuna is holding the reigns of power with his family members. We Indians need to kick the butt of these Mulayams, Jayas, Karunas and scores of cheap corrupt politicians forthwith. If not, we will not be one nation in 10 years from now.
