Way back
in my younger days, when I was in high school, I was an idealist and influenced
and inspired by social causes. I used to write letters to newspapers and also corresponded
with activists and social organizations. At that time, a popular TV show used
to appear on DD-National, featuring animal rights activist Maneka Gandhi. I had
written to her once and I had also got her reply. Those days, we used to write
physical hand written letters, and hence both she and I wrote with hand. I had
forgotten about this, until recently when I found the letter and then recalled
that time.
