Collected 10 LED bulbs @ Rs 100
each from electricity office in Pune, which Govt is distributing for all.
Sometime back I had bought some LED bulbs at a higher market price. Those were
from Eveready which is an Indian company; but to my surprise the bulbs were
"Made in China". So I looked for the make of government's LED bulbs
and to my relief those are manufactured at Noida in UP. The contract
manufacturer which makes them is a JV between an Indian company and a foreign
firm.
